Born on the island of Cyprus, Rami Sarieddine went on to receive piano performance qualifications by the following institutions: the Royal Academy of Music in London (BMus, MMus, LRAM), the New England Conservatory in Boston (Graduate Diploma) and the University of Southern California’s Thornton School of Music in Los Angeles (Doctor of Musical Arts) under the tutelage of Patsy Toh, Gabriel Chodos and John Perry respectively.  

He has held the Head Piano Fellow position at the Bard College Conservatory of Music in New York and teaching positions in Los Angeles, New York City, Abu Dhabi as well as the Central Conservatory Prep School in Beijing. He currently serves on the faculty of ARTE Music Academy and as a vocal coach at the Berlin Opera Academy.  

In 2019, he founded the duo+ and collaboration hub Chimera with long-time collaborator, bass singer Andrew Robert Munn. They presented recitals in Abu Dhabi, Athens, Berlin, Cyprus and most recently in Paris. They presented the world premieres of works composed for the duo+ by Andys Skordis and Conrad Winslow. In addition, as Juilliard Global Artists they present master classes and workshops at K-12 Nord Anglia schools across the world.  

An avid advocate of music by living composers, Rami has premiered works by composers such as Andys Skordis, James Primosch, Conrad Winslow and Nina C. Young. Additionally, he has worked with composers such as Mark Carlson, Libby Larsen, Steve Reich, and Frederich Rzewski. He was the repetiteur for the premiere of the opera Argos Sidiros – and collaborated with the world-renowned bass, Nicholas Isherwood for the premiere of ‘TE…TELESTE’ – both works (2021) by Andys Skordis. Recently, with violinist Nikos Pittas and cellist Miranda Papaneocleous they performed works for piano trio by Cypriot composers in Larnaca and Limassol.
